So here we are with 'Ricambi' all ready for phase one of the transplant.  And then winter happened!  So in other words I chickened out and decided to wait 'till spring when it would not be so bloody cold and wet to be crawling round on the ground under an old Alfa.  I should point out that I have no garage, and this operation was to take place at the indulgence of the Irish weather, so I feel I had something of an excuse... In the meantime I needed something to drive that wasn't front-wheel drive, and that was, preferrably, an Alfa.  So back over the pond again to pick up 'Roxy', a 1992 3.0V6 Alfa 75.  Quite what my neighbours think of me at this stage I can only imagine!
